This is my city. While this isn’t my dog, it’s one of the many fabulous canine superstars that grace the front of my camera each year. I’m participating in Rover.com’s Tail of 20 Cities, celebrating my some of the most gorgeous puppy mugs in Pittsburgh and our unique city along with 19 other photographers from around the world. Check out all of the photographs here Tail of Twenty Cities Photo Journey and feel free to join the fun by posting your own pic of your pooch repping your city with the hashtag #RoverCities!
Meet Penny – She is a true supermodel with legs that are a mile long, a long gorgeous sighthound neck bejeweled with a collar straight from Neiman Pupcus. You may think that a dog like that can only come into your life by perfect planning – but nope Penny was a rescue. She’s not just a pretty face though, she’s also a registered Canine Good Citizen. Penny was photographed at a true Pittsburgh icon, the Roberto Clemente Bridge.
Meet Morgan – This face. I was lucky enough to photograph Morgan when she was just a little (50lb) pup – now she’s grown into the lovely lady that she is. Morgan was one of the first dogs to participate in my #selfiedog series and she rocked her moment in front of the camera. This image was captured on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, right next to the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates, with the city in the background just as the sun was dipping below the horizon on its nightly journey west.
We would love to see your favorite puppy mugs! Simply #RoverCities on your social media.
